HISTORY

The Golden Mile Country Inn has been around for a number of years, in various guises.  The building is located on the edge of the village of Corntown in the Vale of Glamorgan, which dates back to the 17th Century and is close to the ruins of Ewenny Priory, a 12th Century Benedictine Monastery.

Liz and Matthew Lewis have recently brought the building back to life with a stylish and contemporary renovation which has kept the integrity of the old building and which now maximises the incredible rural views of surrounding farmland.

Situated between Bridgend and Cowbridge, there is easy access via the A48 and M4 to Cardiff, which is only 20 miles away, The Golden Mile is also close to the magnificent Heritage Coastline which provides visitors with a great choice things to see and do in the area
